Cookie Policy Version July 2024

We wish to inform you that we will process your personal data in accordance with EU Regulation 679/2016 (the Regulation) and any applicable local data protection laws. Below, you will find all the information regarding the procedures followed for the collection of information through cookies and/or other tracking technologies when visiting our website (hereinafter also referred to as the “Site”).

What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files that websites send and save on your device (such as a personal computer, tablet, smartphone, etc.) to be retransmitted to the same websites upon your next visit. Thanks to cookies, a website can remember your actions and preferences (such as login details, chosen language, font size, display settings, etc.) so that you do not have to enter them again each time you return to the site or browse from one page to another. Cookies are used for purposes like enabling online authentication, tracking sessions, and storing information about users’ activities on a site and may also contain a unique identification code that tracks user navigation within the same site for statistical or advertising purposes. During navigation on a site, a user may also receive cookies from different sites or web servers (so-called “third-party cookies”). Some operations would be impossible without the use of cookies, which are sometimes technically necessary for the site to function.

We wish to clarify that cookies allow the identification and recognition of the device accessing the Site, but not the individual using it.

2 – Types and purposes of cookies, what are they?

There are various types of cookies, depending on their characteristics and functions, and they may remain on users’ devices for different periods: a) session cookies, automatically deleted when the browser is closed; b) persistent cookies, which remain on your device until a pre-set expiration date. According to Italian regulations, not all cookies require express user consent. Specifically, “technical cookies” do not require consent as they are solely used to transmit communications over an electronic network or, to the extent strictly necessary, to provide a service explicitly requested by the user. In other words, these are essential cookies for the site’s operation or for performing activities requested by the user. Additionally, the Site may use the following cookies: ● browsing or session cookies (for authentication); ● functional cookies, which allow the user to browse based on a series of selected criteria (such as language, selected products for purchase) to improve the service provided; ● analytics cookies, only if used directly by the site operator to collect information in aggregated form on the number of users and how they visit the site. Conversely, profiling cookies, which create user profiles and are used to send advertising messages aligned with the preferences expressed during online browsing, require the user’s prior consent.

3 – Types of cookies used by our Site We have classified the cookies we use based on their type of use into: 3.1 Technical Cookies The Site uses first-party, session, and persistent cookies to enable secure and efficient navigation and use of Site functionalities, as well as to enhance the services provided by the Site itself.

These are cookies that, for example, allow recognition of the selected language and the country from which you connect to the Site. By recognizing you at login, these cookies avoid the need for you to re-enter your information each time. Finally, functionality cookies are instrumental in improving your browsing experience. These cookies are essential for the functioning of our Site and cannot be disabled without compromising the Site’s functionalities. “Third-party” cookies are associated with services provided by third parties: they are used for various purposes, such as analyzing the performance of marketing campaigns and/or delivering personalized ads on our and partner websites. This activity, called retargeting, is based on browsing activities. The third party provides these services in exchange for information regarding the user’s visit to our site. Therefore, third-party cookie providers must also comply with applicable regulatory requirements. We refer to the web pages of the third-party sites where you can find consent forms for cookies and their privacy policies.

Currently, we use both first-party and third-party cookies on our Site.
